THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE _ AP
**THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE** **2024** This artwork reflects the tension between our increasingly fraught relationship with technology and its potential to either heal or harm the planet. The duality between chaos and harmony mirrors the division seen in society, shaped by the reality one chooses to engage with. Through the lens of social media, we are faced with a stark choice: immediate sensory overload (noise) or a broader, long-term perspective (signal). The former presents an overwhelming deluge of data, media, and perspectives, evoking a world seemingly teetering on the edge of collapse. Yet, when we take a step back and expand our view to the larger temporal horizon, a different narrative emerges-one of human resilience, technological innovation, and a slow but significant move towards a more harmonious existence with nature. This work allows the viewer to oscillate between these two realities. The dial becomes a metaphor for our own agency, representing the balance that can be found between a wider, more serene, holistic view of the world and the chaotic swirl of real-time news feeds, which illustrate the dissonance and implied urgency of the present moment. **LAST UPDATED: 02.04.2026** **S&P 500: $6917.81** **BITCOIN PRICE: $76379.54** **ETH PRICE: $2271.18** **CURRENT HEADLINES** San Jose police: Man dies after crashing stolen car NYS urges residents to review tax credit eligibility ‘Bossly bill’ aimed at preventing land survey abuses wins committee approval Ten In-State Recruits Georgia Tech Should Pursue In The 2027 Class Klarna Group plc Notice of February 20, 2026 Application Deadline for Class Action Lawsuit - Contact Lewis Kahn, Esq. at Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC, Before Application Deadline Loyola Chicago wins 71-61 over La Salle Why India Will Struggle to Reduce Its Reliance on Russian Oil Abbott threatens school funding over student walkouts Texas man escalates lawsuit against California doctor over mailed abortion pills Why Does The Boeing 777X Have Different Wings Than The Original 777?
